Having graduated from college with a BA in Business Management and graduate school with an MBA in Information Systems, I began my work experience in New York City. My first stop…. Merrill Lynch. I am a graduate of Merrill Lynch's Corporate Systems Training Program. It was this program that launched and shaped me into a career in I/T development.
My path took a detour, when my husband accepted an opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon my move to Cleveland, I worked for Progressive Insurance for 10 years building claims systems.
Following my experience at Progressive, I became an independent contractor and specialized in social media, digital photography and video creation.
I recognized that I had yet another passion. Cooking has been a life-long pleasure for me. I have been in the I/T field for over 20 years. But, I never lost my hunger for cooking.
In 2014, I attended ICASI, The International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute in Chesterland, Ohio and was class valedictorian. My education not only included basic skills, but also theoretical culinary instruction with sanitation and nutrition training in addition to classical European culinary and pastry techniques. This two year degree also included professional foodservice management principles and application.
Cooking for me is my way of expressing myself. It gives me a chance to show my friends and family my creativity and what I love to do.
